The nitty-gritty

Workshops are a max of 12 people as this means that I can spend one-on-one time with you.

If the workshop is in the Metro Vancouver area, there are no additional transport or accommodation costs as one of life’s great luxuries is sleeping in my own bed.

Workshops are a minimum of two days, usually at 6.5 h hours per day and my fee is $500/day plus applicable tax.

Attendees will have the option of prearranging the rental of materials for use during the sessions.

The studio is a 300 sq/ft working studio located at 268 Keefer street, China Town opposite Maxim’s Bakery. There is ample metered street parking along Keefer as well as Impark’s lot #1118 located above the studio building

In-studio sessions are on request and are scheduled with a maximum of 2 people at a time, so please bear this in mind when you are recruiting your painting buddy although you are more than welcome to come by yourself.

If this is your first time working with me, the initial sessions are a bundle of four sessions at 3 hours a session. This will give you the foundation that you need to continue working independently

If you are returning after your initial introductory bundle; you tailor the number of sessions and the duration of the session to fit your needs.

The time we share is really one-on-one time which can be unnerving and even though we only work in 3-hour sessions, they are very tiring.  The material we cover will make you feel uncomfortable and confused but my attention is completely yours and the feelings that you will experience are completely normal and a good sign that you are learning and growing.

The nitty-gritty

• You may bring your own materials or simply use the ones that I use in the studio.
• Introduction sessions are valued at $600 and this is a fixed cost whether you are one person or if you decide to bring a friend.
• Casual sessions after your introduction are valued at $50/hour.  Again, you can come by yourself or with a friend who has completed the introduction and share this cost between you.
